Terms and Conditions

Effective date: 16 March 2026 ยท Triont Pty Ltd (ACN pending)

These Terms and Conditions (Terms) form a binding agreement between you (Customer) and Triont Pty Ltd (Triont, we, us). They govern your access to and use of the plainfra service, the plainfra.com website, and any related applications, APIs, or documentation (collectively, the Service).

By creating an account or using the Service in any way, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

plainfra is an AI-powered AWS infrastructure intelligence service. It uses a read-only IAM role deployed in your AWS account to query infrastructure metadata and generate health reports, cost analysis, interactive chat responses, and structured findings.

plainfra is a read-only service. It does not make changes to your AWS environment, does not access application data, database contents, secrets, or business data, and does not store AWS credentials beyond the read-only role ARN and external ID required for cross-account access.

The Service includes:

  • The plainfra web console at app.plainfra.com
  • The plainfra chat interface and API endpoints
  • Automated weekly health reports (on applicable plans)
  • The plainfra.com marketing website and documentation

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age and capable of forming a binding contract under applicable law. The Service is designed for business use. You must have lawful authority over the AWS account(s) you connect to plainfra. Connecting an account you do not own or have explicit written authorisation to manage is a violation of these Terms.

3. Account registration

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your API key and for all activity under your account. If your API key is compromised, contact us immediately at support@triont.com.

Each AWS account ID may only be registered once.

4. AWS access and the IAM role

To use plainfra, you must deploy a read-only IAM role in your AWS account using the CloudFormation template provided during signup. You are responsible for deploying and maintaining this role, and ensuring its trust policy is not modified to grant unintended access.

You may revoke plainfra's access at any time by deleting the CloudFormation stack. Revoking access does not cancel your subscription โ€” you must cancel separately as described in Section 8.

Triont is not responsible for any AWS charges incurred as a result of API calls made by plainfra using your read-only role.

5. Free evaluation

New customers may be offered a free evaluation period with a limited token allocation and fixed time window, as specified on the signup page at time of registration. During the evaluation, your card is verified via Stripe but not charged.

The evaluation ends when either the token allocation is exhausted or the time window expires, whichever occurs first. We reserve the right to limit, modify, or discontinue the evaluation offering at any time.

6. Subscription plans and fees

plainfra is offered on a subscription basis. Current plans and pricing are published on the pricing page. By selecting a paid plan, you agree to pay the applicable fees on a recurring monthly basis. All fees are quoted in United States Dollars (USD). GST will be added for Australian customers in accordance with Australian tax law.

7. Payment

All payments are processed by Stripe. By providing your payment details, you authorise Triont (via Stripe) to charge your nominated payment method on a recurring monthly basis. Triont does not store your full credit card details. Card information is handled exclusively by Stripe in accordance with PCI DSS requirements.

8. Cancellation and refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time by contacting support@triont.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. We do not provide refunds for partial billing periods.

Upon cancellation, your conversation history and reports are retained for 90 days then deleted. Billing records are retained for 7 years as required by Australian tax law.

9. Acceptable use

You must not:

  • Use the Service to query AWS accounts you do not own or have explicit authorisation to access
  • Attempt to circumvent usage limits, token quotas, or access controls
  • Use the Service in any way that could damage, disable, or impair our infrastructure
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
  • Resell, sublicense, or provide access to plainfra to third parties without our written consent
  • Misrepresent your identity, company, or authorisation during signup

10. AI-generated content

plainfra uses large language models via Amazon Bedrock to analyse your infrastructure and generate responses. You acknowledge that AI-generated outputs may contain errors or omissions, and should be treated as one input to operational decision-making โ€” not as a definitive audit, compliance assessment, or security review. You are responsible for verifying findings before acting on them. Nothing in plainfra's output constitutes security advice, legal advice, or compliance certification.

11. Data and privacy

Our collection and use of your data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms. You retain ownership of your data. By using plainfra, you grant Triont a limited licence to access and process your infrastructure telemetry solely for the purpose of providing the Service. All data processing occurs on AWS infrastructure in Australia (ap-southeast-2).

12. Intellectual property

The plainfra service, including its software, AI models, investigation recipes, prompt designs, documentation, and branding, is owned by Triont Pty Ltd or its licensors. Reports and outputs generated by plainfra based on your data are yours to use freely within your organisation.

13. Third-party services

The Service relies on AWS, Stripe, and Amazon Bedrock. Your use of plainfra is subject to the terms of these providers to the extent applicable. Triont is not responsible for the availability, performance, or terms of any third-party service.

14. Service availability

We aim to provide reliable, continuous access to the Service but do not guarantee uptime or uninterrupted availability. We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from service interruptions.

15. Disclaimer of warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided as is and as available without warranties of any kind. Where Australian Consumer Law applies, our liability for breach of any non-excludable consumer guarantee is limited to re-supplying the Service.

16. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law, Triont's total aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the total fees you paid to Triont in the three (3) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. In no event will Triont be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.

17. Modifications

We may modify these Terms at any time. For material changes, we will provide at least 14 days' notice by email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

18. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Victoria, Australia. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria, Australia.
